Walk a mile in these shoes “fashion fighting injustice…”

With over 27 million slaves still existing in the world today, U.S. included and over three billion living on less than two dollars a day we at Red revolution could not sit silent and still call ourselves followers of Jesus Christ.

We at Red Revolution are excited to announce our first initiative, shoe initiative that is. That’s right Red Revolution is coming out with it’s own shoe. Not for the sake of fashion alone but for the sake of Jesus Christ. Let me explain. With my fashion design background and seeing one of the many epidemics of this world you get the above shoe design. The profits of this shoe will not go to support anyone’s lifestyle but toward fighting injustice and exalting the name of Jesus through places like “International justice mission and His voice for Sudan. Here are the facts.

Over 250 million dollars are spent on Fashion and merchandising a year. There is glaring reality that a ton of resources are being wasted on the image of ourselves. With this mounting number of resources being wasted and profits going to support the lifestyles of those who care about the treasures of this world we decided to tap into these resources and redeem them for the glory of Christ. Another polarizing stat is the average American will spend over 300 hundred dollars a year on shoes alone. That’s from the richest of rich to the poorest of poor. As you can see the money will be spent. Rather than preach a sermon to stop spending money we saw it as being shrewd to create a product that allows people to be consumers while simultaneously using the profits for kingdom minded work and not earthly treasures.

“The Red Rev shoe initiative”
With our yearly consumer lifestyles and many gifts and talents the average American can revolutionize the world in this area for Christ. In Cambodia between 80,000-100,000 women will sell themselves into sex slavery to support their families willingly or deceitfully for as little as 10 dollars and as high as 100, this is just one of many epidemic situations.

Now put the pieces together, with the purchase of one pair of shoes through our initiative you could use fashion to fight injustice and exalt the name of Jesus Christ. The money will be spent by you and I, I am not asking you to spend new money, but I am asking you to direct your money in a direction to where it’s spent, redeemed for Christ, not wasted and the by product is you get a quality shoe that’s fashion forward and shows that you are a part of something bigger than yourselves, God’s kingdom. Our goal is to get 400 pre-orders so we can start to be a voice for the voiceless and reach the unreached for the Lord.

  3. I think this is an amazing minister. We need to buy cloths and I would rather pay more money and know my money is not going to some dudes pocket, but go into stopping slavery.
